Butterfly - Lady Gaia (Boulder)

Lady Gaia has all the colours of the rainbow in her, she is bright & sparkly and as you move her around in the sunlight you see a beautiful rainbow like array of colours. 

This butterfly is a little different to the others I've made, she is a very grounded earth centred piece. As you place her on your neck you feel the sense of peace, calmness & a connection to our beautiful earth. The energy emitting from her is deep, boundless & gives you a feeling of contentment. 

Boulder opal is known to be a powerful stone, of "betterment" it has the energy of improving your life & chasing your dreams. If you look closely at a boulder opal you will see its tiny and very unique patterns of colour, of spark and of play! 

It has been said that these colour patterns are your hopes and dreams waiting to release into your world, it helps shine a light on your path guiding you to fulfil your destiny.

Here is the background story of my butterfly pendant creations..

It all started when a butterfly fluttered her way into our truck out on the opal fields, with her appearance came a flooding of memories & inspiration and my butterfly collection was birthed..

As I make these gorgeous pendants I can feel the energy of my grandmother wrap her celestial wings around me, she always told us stories about the butterflys on the opal fields & how they lead the miners (my grandfather) to their treasures. How lucky am I to be able to keep their stories & wisdom alive through our stones and jewellery!

This Opal stone is not from Lighting Ridge, it is a QLD boulder opal.
