Bindi Bindi - Butterfly

As a child my grandmother would tell me stories about the butterflies on the opal fields.

She always said that it was legend amongst opal miners that if you see a butterfly out on the fields and followed it, it would lead you to this precious gem...

These words of wisdom inspired my butterfly collection.

Hand forged with sterling silver this gorgeous gem stone has swirls of green, blue & flecks of purple. 

The stone measures 9mm by 15mm. The pendants measurement is 4.5cm by 3.5cm 

This solid Lightning Ridge opal is 4.8ct
